How to Configure Thunderbird for Trans-Video
Operating System(s): Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP

Open Thunderbird. From the File menu, select New, and then choose Account. 

The Account Wizard will open up. Select E-mail account. Click the Next button.

Type your name in the first field.  This is what people will see when they get

email from you.  Then type your trans-video email address in the next field.

Click the next button.

Select the POP option, and then fill in the following fields: 
Incoming Server: pop3.trans-video.net
Outgoing Server: smtp.trans-video.net 
Click the Next button. 

Enter your Trans-Video email username in both fields. This is the part of your email address before '@trans-video.net'.

Click the Next button. 
Note: Your may be asked to complete just one field. 

Choose a name for this account. Click the Next button. 

Review your settings in the next window, and then click the Finish button. 
Mozilla Thunderbird is now configured to send and receive e-mail from Trans-Video.net 



Note: The first time you attempt to check your mail you will be prompted to 
enter your password. Enter the password and select the Use Password Manager to 
remember this password option. 

You have configured Thunderbird for use with your Trans-Video email account.
